{"id":1202,"date":"2026-06-02T12:34:13","date_gmt":"2026-06-02T12:34:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/job-s.co.za\/?p=1202"},"modified":"2026-06-02T12:34:13","modified_gmt":"2026-06-02T12:34:13","slug":"traffic-officer-training-programme-narysec-2026-intake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/job-s.co.za\/?p=1202","title":{"rendered":"Traffic Officer Training programme Narysec 2026 Intake"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 class=\"entry-title\">How to become a Traffic Officer at RTMC<\/h4>\n<p>To become a Traffic Officer, you need to be employed or appointed as a trainee (permanent or on contract) by a Provincial Department of Transport, a Municipality or a Government Agency such as the Road Traffic Management Corporation.<\/p>\n<p>The minimum requirements to become a Traffic Officer are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum educational qualification of matric or grade 12 or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Code B driving licence (manual transmission).<\/li>\n<li>No Criminal record.<\/li>\n<li>Medical Certificate as proof that a person can do strenuous exercise.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants shall not be older than 35 years of age<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Career Leaflet\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtmc.co.za\/images\/rtmc\/docs\/ntp\/Traffic-Training-Information.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Download<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Training of Traffic Officers is an on-going process that focuses on all elements of law enforcement and road safety.<br \/>\nThe Unit is responsible for the Norms and Standards in all Traffic Training Colleges. It is also responsible for ensuring that Traffic Colleges meet the required standards as stipulated in Regulation 2B of the National Road Traffic Act (NRTA) and the Policy Document for Traffic Training Centres.
