Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mascor is a Company consisting of franchised Automotive, agricultural mechanisation and fuel. With more than\u00a0 50 years in the industry, we offer prestige brands such as John Deere, Toyota and Warath while our highly skilled staff provides professional\u00a0 and high-quality service and standards of workmanship.
\nMascor is currently looking for a Working Foreman to co-ordinate and direct the service department workload to maximize efficiency and productivity whilst maintaining high standards.<\/p>\n

RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/b><\/p>\n

1. Customer service<\/p>\n

a. Ensure customer satisfaction is at 100% and all queries are attended to timeously.<\/p>\n

b. Ensure proper communication regarding jobs in progress<\/p>\n

c. Enhance facilities<\/p>\n

d. Improve technicial skills in the workshop<\/p>\n

e. Effective marketing<\/p>\n

2. Profitability<\/p>\n

a. Ensure the Service Department achieves budget objectives by continual (weekly\/monthly) examination of accounts, operating controls and composite figures to allow the necessary improvements and corrective action to be taken where variations occur.<\/p>\n

b. To operate the service department efficiently which will be measured by 85 % achievement of labour utilization.<\/p>\n

c. 100 % achievement of labour productive efficiency<\/p>\n

d. 85 % achievement of overall labour sales efficiency<\/p>\n

e. Ensure accurate invoicing and job costing in the service department which will be monitored by the achievement of a labour recovery rate.<\/p>\n

f. To ensure premises and equipment and other assets are controlled and used effectively.<\/p>\n

g. Plan and allocate the technicians’ work based on their skill, expertise, and experience.<\/p>\n

h. Monitor and boost warranty and service package sales.<\/p>\n

i. Manage the service schedule, and warranty claims.<\/p>\n

j. Direct and assist technicians to ensure repairs are completed to the desired standard.<\/p>\n

k. Maintain service processes, policies and guidelines and ensure that they are carried out safely.<\/p>\n

l. To check completed work and ensure parts and labour are fully accounted for.<\/p>\n

m. Maintain workshop discipline and organization, ensuring cleanliness and safety of the working environment.<\/p>\n

n. Communicate with the Branch\/Sales Manager on a regular basis to review workshop performance and address any specific issues.<\/p>\n

o. Coordinate with the Branch\/Sales Manager over the training needs and experience of the workshop team, and delegate tasks to match these needs.<\/p>\n

p. Responsibility for the special tool inventory and recommendation of the purchase of new tools if necessary<\/p>\n

q. To maintain effective control of expenses in line with budget objectives by monthly examination of management accounts.<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS:<\/b><\/p>\n

a. Qualifications:<\/p>\n

i. Min: Grade 12 \/ N2 & Job related Trade certificate<\/p>\n

b. Experience:<\/p>\n

i. 5 \u2013 7 Year\u2019s experience as a Service Technician<\/p>\n
