Assurance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ensure compliance to applicable statutory Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)\/Mine Health and Safety Acts (MHSA), regulations and prescriptive<br \/>\n\u2022 Adhere to planned maintenance schedules<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure equipment are maintained to maximum performance according to specifications of instruction manuals and train support personnel accordingly<br \/>\n\u2022 condition Maintain programming of circuits, panels, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), motherboards and relevant equipment according to workshop manuals and instructions<\/p>\n<p><strong>Equipment Control and Maintenance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Inspect and repair all assets and equipment and all surrounding infrastructure<br \/>\n\u2022 Conduct monitoring, testing, fault finding and problem solving<br \/>\n\u2022 Adhere to planned maintenance schedules<br \/>\n\u2022 Assume responsibility for maintenance and new installations and maintain all records accordingly<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain relevant equipment including medium frequency invertors, furnace melt managers and refractory lining monitoring equipment installation<br \/>\n\u2022 Safe operation and control of medium to high voltage switchgear<br \/>\n\u2022 Plan and order parts to minimize production delays due to tool, equipment and instrument failure<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inspection and Control<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Inspect all tools, equipment, instruments prior to use<br \/>\n\u2022 Inspect all vehicles, machines and mechanical equipment to identify defects<br \/>\n\u2022 Report defects immediately<br \/>\n\u2022 Carry out inspection according to a specific schedule to repair identified defects<br \/>\n\u2022 Receive, complete and return job cards<\/p>\n<p><strong>Safe and Healthy Work Environment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Adhere to all health and safety practices and promote good housekeeping on an ongoing basis<br \/>\n\u2022
