{"id":481,"date":"2024-04-22T18:59:05","date_gmt":"2024-04-22T18:59:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/job-s.co.za\/?p=481"},"modified":"2024-04-22T18:59:05","modified_gmt":"2024-04-22T18:59:05","slug":"coca-cola-machine-area-specialist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/job-s.co.za\/?p=481","title":{"rendered":"Coca-cola: Machine Area Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Reference Number:<\/strong> CCB240418-8<br \/>\n<strong>Job Title:<\/strong> Machine Area Specialist<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Category:<\/strong> Manufacturing<\/p>\n<p><strong>Company:<\/strong> Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location &#8211; Country:<\/strong> South Africa<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location &#8211; Province:<\/strong> Gauteng<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location &#8211; Town \/ City:<\/strong> Pretoria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our production department.<\/li>\n<li>We are looking for talented individual with relevant skills and experience for a Machine Specialist role, which is based in Pretoria.<\/li>\n<li>The successful candidate will report directly to the Maintenance Controller.<\/li>\n<li>Key purpose of the role is to maintain, repair and optimize plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality at minimum cost without sacrificing standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>control and automation standby as per roster.<\/li>\n<li>Preventative Electrical maintenance work.<\/li>\n<li>Membership of a fault-finding team.<\/li>\n<li>Modification projects (whenever necessary).<\/li>\n<li>Installation of new equipment.<br \/>\nDevelopment of work instructions related to mechanical equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and manage performance of equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Optimize machine performance and lay-out.<\/li>\n<li>Optimization of maintenance schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Optimize machine availability.<br \/>\nAbility to work shifts and be available on call-out where necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills, Experience &amp; Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>N4 with electrical or instrumentation trade test.<\/li>\n<li>5 years in the relative field. Siemens PLC will be advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in inspection machines, date coders and bar codes.<\/li>\n<li>PC literacy essential &#8211; Microsoft packages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u2022 Knowledge of Microsoft dynamics will be an advantage.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Contribute to self and team development.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Plan budget and prepare the job in a systematic and effective manner.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must be able to work under the pressures of a production environment.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Self-starter.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must have an appreciation for quality and technical standards.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must be able to liaise with Machine Suppliers and Technical Support from COF.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must be able to carry out mechanical maintenance work.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must have &#8216;trouble shooting&#8217; skills.<br \/>\nExperience in inspection machines, date coders and bar codes.
