REQUIREMENTS<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

-Basic Literacy or Grade 10. – Grade 12 (added advantage). – Valid Driver\u2019s License (added advantage). – Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (must be bilingual). – Ability to follow & execute given instructions. – Good physical health, basic skill & know how of doing physical work. – A hard-working self-disciplined person. \u2013 applicants must reside within the Midvaal Local Municipality jurisdiction – 01-year relevant experience in general work related to Waste management within a municipality.<\/p>\n

DUTIES<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

-Perform litter control and any other general labour consistent with operating a waste disposal facility. \u2013 General upkeep of landfill and transfer station operations. \u2013 Assisting at recycling centre when needed. \u2013 Assist spotters with directing and controlling landfill and transfer station traffic. \u2013 Refuse removal from households and business premises. \u2013 Sweeping of streets, sidewalks, taxi and bus ranks. \u2013 Picking of litter along the streets and main roads, including public open spaces. \u2013 Empty street and public dustbins. \u2013 Cleaning of public street, taxi and bus ranks, open spaces. \u2013 Cleaning of municipal buildings and facilities. – Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties within waste management section as may be delegated by the supervisor\/manager<\/p>\n

SALARY<\/u>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 R142 608.00 p.a. \u2013 R156 228.00 p.a. (Level 13 of a Grade 04 Local Authority)<\/b><\/p>\n

Total package inclusive of all benefits: R265 897.52 p.a.<\/b><\/p>\n
