Start a job that offers up something new each day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Type:<\/strong>\u00a0Permanent Flexi<\/p>\n<p>We are here to deliver service excellence through efficient customer service, point of sale (POS) operational activities and merchandising in store that leads to a positive customer experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Must be able to perform duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader<br \/>\n\u2022 Other duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Cashier Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Processes customer purchases, performs general cleaning duties, stocks shelves and merchandise displays neatly<br \/>\n\u2022 Provides exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping experience<br \/>\n\u2022 Provides feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues<br \/>\n\u2022 Participates in taking store inventory counts according to guidelines and monitoring inventory for accuracy<br \/>\n\u2022 Adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Shop Assistant Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stocks shelves and merchandise properly to guarantee that products are available for the customer<br \/>\n\u2022 Follows merchandising planograms to create excellently merchandised displays<br \/>\n\u2022 Organizes new inventory, removes and breaks down empty boxes<br \/>\n\u2022 Follows all safety procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u2022 Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures<br \/>\n\u2022 Excellent verbal communication skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to work both independently and within a team environment<br \/>\n\u2022 Effective time management<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledge of products and services of the company<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cashier: Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately<br \/>\n\u2022 Shop Assistant: Ability to achieve replenishment standards safely and properly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"vacancy-description\">\u2022 Grade 12 qualification<br \/>\n\u2022 Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Desirable: experience in a customer facing role within the retail\/ FMCG store operations environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PERSONALITY TRAITS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Retail Savvy<\/li>\n<li>Reliable &amp;
