INTRODUCTION:

Komatsu South Africa has an opportunity for Assistant Artisans with at least 2 – 3 years’ experience in Earthmoving Equipment to join our team at Namakwa Sands.

Applicants from the immediate area will get preference.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric/N3 Certificate.

EXPERIENCE:

• 2 – 3 years’ work experience working on earthing moving machines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Required to work overtime and standby from time to time and must be prepared to travel when needed.
• Assist the artisan in all aspects.
• Must be safety orientated as machine movement and component movements are present
• Must have some knowledge on basic tools and the purpose of tools used
• Must be presentable and tidy
• Ability to work under pressure
• Team player

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Some knowledge of tools and machine repairs.
• Good communication and inter-personal skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Have a passion for Heavy Earthmoving Machinery
• Skills/Additional Requirements
• Driver’s License – Field Services a requirement
