– Job Type: Fixed-Term / Temporary for election period
– Salary: R1 320 to R3 000 for the duration

Posts per Province:

– Gauteng: 94 Posts
– KwaZulu-Natal: 118 Posts
– Western Cape: 77 Posts
– Free State: 70 Posts
– Northern Cape: 57 Posts
– Limpopo: 52 Posts
– Mpumalanga: 43 Posts
– North West: 39 Posts

What Electoral Officers Do:

– Assist with voter registration
– Polling station administration
– Election logistics and setup
– Help voters on election day
– Ensure electoral processes are fair and efficient

Minimum Requirements:

1. Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent – compulsory
2. South African citizen
3. Good computer literacy – MS Word, Excel, Outlook
4. Good communication organisational skills
5. Willing to work extended hours, weekends & public holidays
6. Previous election/admin experience = advantage but NOT compulsory
7. Valid driver’s licence = advantageous 678a
